Getting Started with the SONY VX2000

There have been several milestones in the history of camcorder technology, not the least of which was the introduction of Sony's VX1000 many years ago. Technology keeps changing, and people keep demanding more from their hardware, and Sony gave them more with the new Sony VX2000.

Without a doubt, this camcorder packs more features, more quality, and more bang for your buck than any other camera in its price range, while still remaining compact and lightweight, compared to others. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the user manual.

That's where we come in. Where the user manual is long, complicated, and often difficult to understand, our videos strive to be fast-paced, concise, and easy to comprehend. You'll want to keep your finger on the rewind button, because we've packed more into 45 minutes of video than you might have thought possible.

We love the VX2000. We use it for just about any kind of shot where we can't use out JVC GY-DV500. It's smaller, lighter, lasts longer on the battery (by far) and takes darn good video. Learning how to get the most out of the VX2000 will turn it into the most powerful tool in your arsenal. If you can quickly deploy and set up this camera, you can often get shots that no other videographer could get. By the time they are ready to shoot, you've gotten the shot, packed up, and are half way through a latte at the nearest Starbucks.

We show you every button, every switch, every dial, and explain all the most important features of this camera - everything you need to know to get up and running in the shortest amount of time. We use high-resolution graphics, actual shots from the camera's viewfinder, and clear, easy to understand narration. We're videographers just like you, so we understand what you need to know, and we leave out the fluff. Without a doubt, this is the best way of getting started with the VX2000.
